Subscribe on the website rather than in the Vidu mobile app. App Store and Google Play purchases go through the store's own billing, which doesn't accept website promo codes.

The catch is commitment. Vidu doesn't issue refunds, so if you are still testing whether AI video fits your workflow, start with a discounted month and switch to yearly once you know you'll use it.
Which Vidu plan fits you?
Standard: for regular short clips
800 credits a month, which Vidu says covers up to 200 videos. You get the fast generation channel, 3–16 second clips, up to four generations at once, H.265 and H.264 Pro export, commercial use and watermark-free downloads. At $8 a month with the code, it is the cheapest way to post AI video professionally.
Premium: for creators publishing daily
3,500 credits a month plus an off-peak quota of 20 videos per day, which don't use credits when queued in quieter hours. It also moves you to the ultra-fast generation channel. If you regularly run out of Standard credits mid-month, Premium usually costs less than topping up.
Ultimate: for studios and agencies
Up to 20,000 credits monthly and an off-peak quota of 200 videos per day. That fits ad variations, short-drama production or client work. The 20% here is worth $460 a year on annual billing.
Is the free plan enough?
It works for a trial. Free users get sign-up credits and daily login bonuses, but Q4 generations cost twice as many credits per second, references are capped at 10 a month, and the commercial-use and watermark-free benefits are reserved for paid plans.
How far your Vidu credits go
On paid plans, Vidu's newest Q4 model uses 2 credits per second at 540p, so 800 Standard credits buy roughly 400 seconds of 540p video, Premium about 1,750 seconds and Ultimate about 10,000 seconds. Higher resolutions use more. Subscription credits expire after 30 days. Credits you buy separately, and bonus credits from events or the Artist Program, last two years.
What the subscription unlocks right now
ShengShu Technology, the company behind Vidu, released the Vidu Q4 Preview on October 7, 2026. It accepts up to 15 image references and three audio references and outputs 2K or 4K video with 10-bit color. Vidu Q3, released earlier in 2026, generates up to 16-second clips with synchronized audio. Both are available to subscribers on the web app.
The fine print before you pay
- No refunds. Vidu's FAQ says it can't refund subscriptions, so pick your billing cycle carefully.
- Auto-renewal. Plans bought through Stripe renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. Email support@vidu.com for help cancelling.
- Renewal price. Check the checkout summary to see whether the 20% covers only the first billing period or renewals too.
- One code at a time. Promo codes don't usually stack with each other, so remove any other code before entering TECHPOV.
